David Earl Kennedy, 67, owner of Kennedy Sign and Painting, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Monday, September 9, 2019. Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2019 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road from at 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

David was born in Charleston, SC on August 2, 1952, son of the late John Earl Kennedy and the late Joan Devereux. He is survived by his brothers, Doug Kennedy, and Timi Blair Kennedy (Paula) all of Mt Pleasant, SC; his sister, Cathy Kennedy of Walterboro, SC; sons, Blair Kennedy Willhelm and Wofford Kennedy Willhelm (Tabatha) and granddaughter Kennedy Davis Willhelm all of Alabama.

He was a graduate of Moultrie High School, an artist and avid Gamecocks fan. David had a great sense of humor.
