Marilyn Miller Valdes Obituary

Marilyn Miller Valdes, 91, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 3, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service. Interment will take place in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Marilyn was born February 22, 1931 in Passaic, New Jersey, daughter of the late Francis "Frank" Miller and Anna Chuba Miller. She attended Hibben United Methodist Church and was a retired medical secretary. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth Valdes McIntosh (Randy) and Cathy Valdes Tobin (Joe), both of Mount Pleasant; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Miller; sister, Rita Moynihan; two children, Paul Valdes and Craig Valdes and one grandson, Eric Tobin.
